How to choose the right adapter
Modern phones and laptops have fewer ports, but you still need to plug in a USB drive, a TV, wired earphones or an old car stereo. The right small adapter solves this without buying a new device. Start by checking the port on your device, then what you want to connect.
USB-C hubs for laptops
A hub turns one USB-C port into many: HDMI for a monitor or TV, USB-A for a mouse or drive, a card reader and often pass-through charging. Look at the HDMI resolution and refresh rate, and the PD charging watts so your laptop keeps charging while you work. Note that your laptop's USB-C port must support video output for HDMI to work.
OTG adapters and card readers
